Teen Photo Camp, conclusion

No comments:

Roy-
"This is the last day of camp. Sniff, sniff, tear, tear. I've had a lot of fun while learning about Photography this week. Camp was a great intro to photography and increased my interest in the subject greatly."

Eitan-
"Today was the last day of camp. It was really fun. I learned how to take better photos and how to edit them to make them even cooler. I also learned more how a camera works and how the camera takes the picture. Lastly we learned the manual setting on the camera instead of using the automatic setting."

Alice-
"This whole week was well worth the time spent here doing the camp, even if Icame home cranky. This camp helped me learn more about photography while in a relaxed setting which I think made it easier for all of us to work together. I met a lot of unique people that I would not have met otherwise and am glad to have made friends with them. This camp also forced me to think out of my comfort zone while stretching myself to see if I could retain the information we went over daily mostly concerning manual photography. I liked going out on photo shoots the most during this week to practice the different ways to take photos manually. I'd like to thank everyone at CCFP for putting this camp together and everyone who was involved in making it happen as well as making it a more enjoyable experience. Some of those people are Sally Hayes, Stacy Pearsall, Belverly, and of course our instructor Alice Keeney! Thankyou so much! :) And I'll come back next year to volunteer at the following teen camp if you need any help."

Olivia-
"Throughout the five days that I have been here, I have learned a lot. When I began, I didn't know how to use the Manual function or even what aperture meant. Before the first day was even over, I already knew what these meant and how to properly set them in different situations. Alice's teaching style was extremely helpful in reaching the level of comprehension that I have in the past five days. She taught us the material in ways that we could easily understand, and then let us practice what we learned and ask questions. I'm really glad I found out about this program, and hope that there is another one next year. I'll definitely participate."

Adrionna-
"Today is our last day of photo camp. I've had tons of fun this week. I learned of a lot of new and useful techniques. I had the most fun when we worked in groups and were able to bounce idesa off eachother. My favorite day was when we went to the beach. I loved taking photos of the flowers. If they have another camp next year I would definitely be excited to come back."

Thank you for all of your kind words and we're glad you enjoyed yourself! We welcome you back any time and with open arms. I have to say (this being Belverly) that you guys had some rocking portfolios, I wish I could post all of your images but unfortunately only a couple can go up. Please check out their blogs (links can be found to the right) for the rest of their top picks.

Maybe we'll see all of you sometime in the future for our monthly workshops or even a class or two? Best wishes on your future hobby or even professional photographic journeys!
