COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY CERTIFICATION- On any given day, commercial photographers are expected to shoot anything from products for a catalog to skirts for a magazine. Therefore, it’s important for a commercial photographer to be well versed in many disciplines of photography as well as the business aspect. ASSISTANT LEVEL I CERTIFICATION- Assisting or second shooting for a professional photographer on weddings or commercial shoots can be challenging. Assistants are expected to know lighting, equipment and editing software. Without the basic fundamentals, an assistant will fall short. PHOTOJOURNALISM CERTIFICATION- Photojournalism combines image making with story telling and allows a photographer to convey a message or point. If you are considering news photography as a career, most editors will not hire you without some form of education or experience. CCforP has created an education track specifically for photographers who are interested in freelancing for news agencies, newspapers, online news sites or magazines. The Photojournalism Certification is also applicable for persons who are in the public relations fields.
